Transfer by 15 mins boat ride to Picton and join your guide for a 20 minutes scenic drive to the kayak launch point in Ngakuta Bay.

After a detailed safety briefing, your combo begins with a guided sea kayak tour of the spectacular western end of Queen Charlotte Sound - exploring the shoreline, spotting rays and seabirds and learning about the lush native bush near the water’s edge.

Your Kayak tour concludes a few hours later at Anakiwa. Here your don your tramping boots or pick up a bike and depart on your independent hike or bike of the famous Queen Charlotte Track from Anakiwa to Mistletoe Bay. This moderate 3-4 hour (11km) walk is stunning with views, bush and beaches along the way.

At the conclusion of your walk you will return by boat to The Portage.
