This tour is run by marine biologists and you have a 98% chance of seeing dolphins, from the rare Hector Dolphins bottlenose or dusky dolphins, as well as fur seals and numerous seabirds before landing on Motuara Island Bird Sanctuary at the mouth of Queen Charlotte Sound. Explore the island on your own or go with the knowledgeable guide who will point our resident blue penguins, the rare saddleback, melodic bellbirds, cheeky robins, native pigeons and yellow crowned parakeets.
