Cruise to Ship Cove at the entrance to Queen Charlotte Sound and step ashore in the footsteps of explorer Captain James Cook. After exploring Ship Cove, walk through magnificent virgin forest and you’ll emerge at the ridgeline to breathtaking views of Cook Strait and Resolution Bay. A gentle walk on from Resolution Bay traverses native forest over a low saddle offering spectacular views. The gradual descent curls along the shoreline to historic Furneaux Lodge.
