Living at The Portage

Accommodation

The hotel has 3 housing units for staff which comprises bedrooms and sharing living areas.

Generally staff share a room. There is a weekly charge for accommodation and duty meals are free of charge. All other meals are the responsibility of the staff member and for those who prefer not to cook there is a discounted meal package which can be purchased.

Staff living on site are provided with a linen pack on arrival and pay a bond for this and other items provided.

Uniforms:

The hotel provides uniform shirts for staff to combine with their own black trousers or skirts or cargo shorts. Black shoes with closed toes complete the uniform.
