Staff Boat

There is a staff boat from Picton to the hotel each day in the morning and evening.

Picton is just 15 minutes by boat and 1.25 hours by road. Staff are able to travel on the boat for a substantially reduced fare. At other times boats to Picton are half price to staff.

Activities: The resort has negotiated staff discounts for a number of activities in the local area.

These include use of sea kayaks and mountain bikes at the Adventure Centre, local accommodation in Picton and Nelson, as well as discounted activities in the region.

Staff are welcome to use the Snapper Cafe and the Games Court when off duty. The hotel runs Quiz Nights and regularly has special staff dinners.

We strongly recommend staff take time on their days off to explore the surrounding region and journey to Wellington on the ferry or to Nelson on the regular shuttle service.
